Not one case is alike. Not one client is alike and Mr. Strickland provides top-rated representation when he has a good rapport with the client. He performs best when he can work directly with the client and they can communicate effectively. Mr. Strickland does not take on every client especially when there is a communication barrier. He likes to think “outside of the box” and attempts to make new arguments and approach legal theories in sometimes an unorthodox way. He classifies as an independent thinker.
Over the years he has had the privilege of arguing and winning many cases that other attorneys may find difficult. Winning asylum cases for Russian Christians to winning permanent residency on appeal for an emotionally abused woman from the Czech Republic; and hundreds of unique cases in between are run of the mill for Mr. Strickland’s portfolio. In one case he had a client name their newborn son after him for his hard work in bettering their lives. Another case Mr. Strickland is proud of is a successful application for asylum status of an elderly Vietnamese man who was jailed by Communist officials in the Communist country of Vietnam for writing and speaking against the Vietnamese Communist Party.
Mr. Andy Gene Strickland states that he enjoys helping people flee Communist and Marxist countries. “These people have been jailed or beaten just because they spoke out against the failed deadly ideologies of Communism and Marxism,” he stated. “The ability to directly affect people’s lives, the lives of their family and their posterity is an incredible responsibility and I don’t take it lightly.”
