Before Appointment If it’s your very first time sugaring, you need to let the hair to grow to the length of a grain of rice. This size is actually suitable to allow the sugar to work on the roots of the strands. Medications such as Retin-A, Isotretinoin or acne medicines weaken the hair. If on such medication, consult the doctor first. If you’re nervous about the pain, you may try a few Advil before the appointment.
