What we do at The Junk Pirates is not just a job. Instead of taking phone calls and making appointments to remove junk — a.k.a., order takers, we take the time to listen so we can fully understand your situation. You may think we’re just junk guys, but we’re so much more than a business who drops by to arbitrarily pick up junk. You see, we recognize the amount of stress that is involved with junk accumulation. Junk is a strange phenomenon. One day it seems to appear out of nowhere, sneaking up behind your back until it’s directly in your face. It’s that day when you can no longer park your car in the garage or when you realize you can’t walk down the basement stairs anymore without having to maneuver around boxes and other items you no longer need. Getting rid of junk also possesses an emotional factor, especially if you’ve had it for any length of time. Involvement with an estate sale or cleanout of a loved one’s home can be emotionally devastating. The good news is that we understand. We take the time to see you as a person, not just a job.
